I will not say that I am a professional colorist. However, I have learned from other professionals through books and tutorials and it has helped me out a lot.
I never use LUTs everything I make is from scratch and other professionals compliment my work. There are production houses that solely focus on color grading and if my clients had the budget for it I would definitely send it to a professional colorist.
