GVM LED Light Review

GVM LED Light Review

These LED lights are bicolored and for those of you who don’t know what that means, its both 3200K (warm light) to 5600K (white blueish light). These lights have a metal casing so it’s nice and durable. They come with their own carrying case and power cord. However, they are also battery powered and use the Sony NP-F970 batteries. These lights are dimmable from 10% to 99% and the output is very bright.

The diffusion that the light comes with is removable and you get more of a punch once its removed. They do not come with barn doors so you would have to purchase that separately. They can be easily screwed on to the sides of the light and they are also metal.

I have used these lights for some shoots that I have done and I am so happy with it. I have worked on a web series, short film, and some promo videos with these lights. Much easier to work with and they don’t get hot, unlike my old tungsten lights. I did away with my old softboxes because the amount of time it took to set them up was 4x more than what it takes to set these up.
